As far as I'm concerned, deadmau5 had every right to call out Neon Hitch. She used a song of his without permission. Granted, her version was leaked, and I can only assume she would've eventually asked before releasing it.
No Sir. From Deadmau5’ facebook:
"…a few months back we had this guy working with my management company… and i gave him a shitload of old tracks just to send out to writers and whatnot… and seek out possible collabs with other artists…"
That track was to be “sent out”. If he didn’t want people messing with his tracks he would have kept them on lockdown. And why was deadmau5’ camp pressuring neon for permission to give the song to his artist sofi?
You’re probably thinking “Wow what a cooool name…” but that’s actually her birth name! Her parents were traveling performers/hippies and thats how she got the name Neon. She has worked with some of the top people in the industry like Imogen Heap, Ke$ha, Mike Posner, 3OH!3, Bruno Mars, Jason Derulo, Ryan Tedder, Sia, Rivers Coumo (weezer) and my favorite early 90’s pop star Cathy Dennis.
Why I Love Neon: I like her because as crazy and unconventional as her life has been, she is exactly like everyone else. She has to deal with loneliness, relationship stuff and even backstabbers.
She recently wrote and sang on a track for Deadmau5, which he later called “Pop sh@#”. This Douchey move obviously upset neon who later took to her facebook page to clear the air. …drama!
Why You Should Love Neon: She makes fun pop music and she has a unique voice. She is on the edge of stardom.
Here is a track she wrote with sia called “Get Over You” Download
And the classic “What Starry Eyes Know” Download <-This is the ultimate “singing in the car at the top of your lungs song” and is a mash up of two door cinema club and ellie goulding!
This is the most questions I’ve ever gotten. You don’t know how special you’re making me feel.
I LOOOOOOOVE IT! The story is relatable and the music is super catchy/well sung. Plus I love the clothes and the writing is great!
Cha Cha: They call me Cha Cha because I’m the best dancer at St. Bernadette’s. Frenchy: With the worst reputation.
Also because it’s something my mom and I would always do together. I still get annoyed when she sings “Hopelessly Devoted”. :P
2. The Wizard of Oz
At one time in my life I could recite the entire script including songs. I love the old style of acting, how they would exaggerate every emotion! It makes me smile. And I love that Judy Garland wasn’t allowed to eat during the filming. I don’t really like that they changed the story so much but hey, this is about the film, not its authenticity.
1. okay this is going to sound strange but… The Little Mermaid
As an INFP (Dreamer/Idealist) I have always strived and felt I had to be more than what I was. That I had to be something different to be loved. So, I always felt I could Identify with the mermaid because we both wanted to be something more. And I understand how it feels to want someone that you feel it is impossible to have.
So last night I was able to download reason 4. It was really difficult because I am technologically challenged. But anyways here is what I made today. It somewhat reminds me of Empire of The Sun mixed with a lil CSS and Lykke Li.
